As far as the treatment itself goes, it all starts with an initial consultation where your injector will talk to you about the treatment and check your medical history before proceeding. Once you’re ready, they will cleanse the treatment area, meaning the cheeks, and prepare the product.
SkinVive is injected superficially into the skin — usually the top layer called the epidermis. Your injector will make a series of injections spaced half an inch apart on both cheeks. You’ll barely feel anything during treatment since the product contains lidocaine to reduce injection site pain. The whole treatment should take no more than 15 minutes.
There is no downtime with this treatment, although you’ll want to avoid rubbing and massaging the treatment area for the first 24 hours. This is to prevent product migration. Also, avoid intense exercise for the first two days and direct sun exposure for three days.
The Results
